LES – AC Holds ‘Introduction to Intellectual Property’ Workshop
ZARQA - The Licensing Executives Society – Arab Countries (LES - AC) held the ‘Introduction to Intellectual Property (IP)’ workshop, on October 10, 2022, at Dar Al Hussam Youth Center. The workshop introduced the participants to the following topics:
1 - General Introduction; the Importance of IP and IP Sections.
2- Importance of Trademark Registration.
3- Exceptions to Protection and Duration of Protection and,
4- Patent Protection Procedures.
It is worth mentioning that LES - AC was established in 1997 in Amman, Jordan, to promote and develop Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) protection system, enhance public awareness and disseminate the effective role of IP in globalization, in addition to developing and identifying effective mechanisms to support IPRs worldwide.
